  • A/Prof Michael Stubbs

    BDS(Adelaide), MDS(Oral Pathology), MDS(Oral Medicine/ Oral Pathology), MRACDS

    A/Prof Michael Stubbs is a dual specialist with training in Oral Medicine, as well as Oral pathology. A/Prof Stubbs has also been actively involved in teaching oral medicine in state and national settings.

    A/Prof Stubbs is also passionate about education. Apart from teaching qualified dental practitioners in the management of oral medicine, he is also involved in teaching at universities, research and publications. You can read more by clicking the button below.

  • Dr Jayce Gilbert

    BSc(Physio), MManiTher. FACP


    Dr Jayce is a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist (conferred by the Australian College of Physiotherapists in 2010) and has specialised in treating patients with temporomandibular disorders at the Melbourne Oral Medicine Centre. In addition to clinical practice, Dr Jayce has research and teaching experience, lecturing at the University of Melbourne, Swinburne University and the Australian Physiotherapy Association. 

    On the weekend Dr Jayce enjoys stand up paddle and has represented Victoria in the technical and marathon disciplines nationally.

  • Dr Ellen Tong

    BHsc(Dentistry), MDent

    Dr Ellen Tong is a dedicated general dentist with a special interest in the management of sleep apnea, women's sleep and TMD patients. With a gentle and caring approach, Dr Ellen finds immense fulfilment in witnessing the positive transformations her patients experience.

    At the Melbourne Oral Medicine Centre, Dr Ellen collaborates closely with specialists to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and integrated treatment plans aimed at achieving best outcomes.

  • Dr Jimmy Fan

    BHsc(Dentistry), MDent, GradCertPainMgmt(Sydney), MRACDS

    Dr Jimmy is a dentist at Melbourne Oral Medicine Centre, involved in the dental management of patients with sleep-disordered breathing, such as obstructive sleep apnoea and snoring. Having experienced a diagnosis himself, Dr Jimmy understands the challenges and impact of sleep-disordered breathing from a personal perspective. He believes a dental device should be both effective and comfortable, tailored to each patient's unique needs to ensure optimal results and adherence.

    Dr Jimmy is currently pursuing further training in the specialty of Oral Medicine with the University of Melbourne and the Royal Dental Hospital.
